Configurations alternatives

For manual operation the operator is standing in the center between upsetting machine forging press and eccentric press.

He picks up the upset material strip und places it first into the forging press (to forge the bolster) and subsequently into the eccentric pres (to cut the blade).  

While doing this the next material strip is feed from the magazine to the upsetting machine for upsetting.

For the automatic operation a handling robot is put to use to take over the work of the operator (pick up of upset blades and feeding to the forging press and eccentric press).

In timely intervals only the stacking magazine of the upsetting machine has to be refilled.

For expansion of production capacity a second upsetting machine can be integrated in the system at any time.

The robot picks up the upset material strips in alternate mode and feeds them to the subsequent operating steps (forging and cutting).

This way the production capacity can be doubled!
